Pioneer National Title Insurance was founded as the Chelan County Abstract Company by John A. Gellatley and incorporated on February 23, 1904. Pioneer Title Company is the oldest title company in the Wenatchee Valley. John H. Ellis became the owner and president of the company in January 1983. He has been in the title business for many years. Steve Ellis has been vice president and manager since 1990.
